With thousands of people in evacuation centers due to the imminent eruption of Mt. Mayon, the Albay local government has encountered another interesting problem aside from the obvious ones related to food, clothing, and shelter.
It seems that many married couples require intimate moments. News5 reports that there have been reports of couples being caught in the act by other evacuees.
So, as a remedy, the local government is offering to pick up the hotel tab of married couples who want some privacy to do whatever it is that couples do.
The local government decided to make the offer, as there have also been reports that some couples go back to their houses in the danger zones so they can have some privacy.
“We’ll provide access passes, two per week, to a decent hotel,” said Governor Joey Salceda.
