Someone has to be accountable for this accident.
“On April 11, Fulcy Calibo, a caddie at the Alabang Country Club, was riding a golf cart with another caddie, Vicky Mendoza, and a player during a tournament. The player, who was driving the cart, reportedly drove too fast. When the player made a turn, Calibo fell off the cart and hit her head,” reports ANC.
Calibo fell into a coma. On April 14, she died at the as Piñas City Medical Center. The report said the cause of her death was “severe head injuries” and cardiac arrest.
Calibo’s family is now seeking justice. The report revealed that “the player didn’t even show up to visit the late caddie at the hospital nor did the said player show up at her funeral.”
The Alabang Country Club management disclosed that the player was a guest of one of their members. They have contacted the sponsoring member, but he hasn’t been available.
The management says they will continue investigating the matter.
