Airport authorities apologize for ‘flooding’ in NAIA 3

It was a stressful weekend at the airport.

“The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has apologized for the water build-up in several areas at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 over the weekend,” reports Camille Diola on Philstar.com.

Airport officials explained that “the build-up between gates 133 and 134 on Saturday, Sep 20, was due to a leak from broken water pipes at level 2.” Thus, the broken pipes caused water to seep through the flooring.

“We apologize to the public for the inconvenience. The pipe was repaired as of 5pm on Saturday, September 20,” MIAA said.
