AirAsia Zest plane makes emergency landing at NAIA due to engine trouble

Fortunately, nobody got hurt and no other flights were affected.

“On Tuesday afternoon, Dec 9, an AirAsia Zest airplane made an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Tuesday afternoon after experiencing engine trouble,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report cited information from the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) Media Affairs Division, which revealed that “AirAsia Zest flight Z2 428 left for Puerto Princesa, Palawan at 1155 am and was carrying 86 passengers.” A technical problem forced it to go back to NAIA.

It landed at Terminal 1 at 1258 pm.
