After the Mark Solis brouhaha wherein a UP student won first prize for a humanitarian-themed photo competition comes another scandal.
Social media has trained its sights on a certain Ryan Mark S. Lindo, whose albums contain photos that look exactly the work of fashion photographer Manny Librodo.
A closer scrutiny of Lindo’s posts shows that portions of the photos where Librodo’s watermarks are have been erased.
Lindo’s Facebook page received angry remarks from netizens, including a relative of Librodo, who asked for a public apology to the photographer and his models.
Lindo also claims being certified by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda), but a check with the agency’s website showed did not undergo training under their photography program.
The only things that’s certain is that Lindo appears to have been doing well with photo-editing software and not taking photos himself. MM
