After air passenger rights comes 14-point bill of rights for taxi passengers

The horror stories about taxis passed around from coffeeshop talk to social media seems has affected Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago so much that she is proposing a bill establishing a bill of rights for taxi passengers. The 14-item list of rights includes basic decencies that drivers ought to practice, like proper dressing and observing courtesy, and fair rates. Penalties not only focus on erring drivers, but also include taxi owners. We hope this hurdles all stumbling blocks and gets signed into law so we can kiss those abusive drivers good-bye.
