African drug ring member nabbed, his name’s ‘Thank God Agu’

We’re not kidding about the name.

“An alleged member of an African drug syndicate was arrested for reportedly carrying high-grade shabu with a street value of PHP400,000 in Pamplona, Las Piñas City at past midnight yesterday, Jan 14,” reports Aie Balagtas See on Philstar.com.

The suspect, who was identified as Thank God Agu was apprehended near a bar on Rosal street by National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents.

Agu was in his black Honda Civic (WEW-335) and parked in front of a bank when he was asked to step out. Instead, Agu gunned his car engine and started to drive. However, he bumped the NBI agent’s car. He was cornered and is now detailed at the NBI headquarters in Manila.

A drug-sniffing dog found 137 grams of shabu in Agu’s car.
