A member of the Abu Sayyaf Group was shot and killed in Tagbilaran, Bohol, after allegedly attempting to escape police custody.
According to police reports, Saad Samad Kiram asked police if he could urinate when he fled.
Police chased Saad for 3 hour before they caught up to him.
A report in ABS-CBNNews said Saad was among those involved in a clash with military and police in Inabanga, Bohol, last April.
He was arrested after residents of Tubigon town reported his presence.
The escape happened at around 5 am. A Sunstar Cebu report said Saad was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
