The Philippine Navy posted this photo of “the few, the proud, the women power on deck of BRP Ramon Alcaraz,” the country’s newest ship.
In the photo are Seawoman Josephine O Mapiso PN, Seawoman Erica B Celemin PN, Seawoman Emmalette S Tuble PN, Seawoman Marilyn Cerezo PN, Liutenant (junior grade) Sandra Lingbawan and Lt. (jg) Mary Joy Placino.
“They always have fun while on duty to shed the homesickness and rigors away,” the Navy said (unnecessarily).
The Alcaraz arrived in Philippine territory last week after sailing from North Carolina in the United States of America. The former US Coast Guard cutter is the newest addition to the Philippine Fleet.
