What’s the story behind this car?
“A silver gray Honda (WCG-233) has parked since April 30 outside the south gate of Blue Ridge Subdivision, at the corner of Highland Drive and Boni Serrano Avenue in Barangay Blue Ridge, Quezon City,” reports Jeannette I. Andrade in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
On Monday morning, May 5, barangay councilor Rey Papa finally reported the abandoned vehicle to the Quezon City Police District’s Project 4 station. He had seen some ammunition rounds in the backseat.
Indeed, when police arrived and searched the car, they found four fully loaded magazines for an M-16 automatic rifle.
According to Land Transportation Office (LTO) records, the car was registered to Isabelita Chen, a Quezon City resident but not a homeowner in Blue Ridge.
The police are now trying to get in touch with Chen.
