“Padre Faura Street in Manila was closed to motorists sometime past 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, as a police bomb squad responded to a call from the Supreme Court (SC) security team regarding an abandoned box left at the sidewalk across the high court’s main gate,” reports Ina Reformina on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report noted that “bomb squad personnel responded, and found that the box merely contained broken tiles.”
Padre Faura Street was reopened at around 9:50am.
