“Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas on Thursday, August 7, announced that the Philippine National Police (PNP) will deploy some 900 new police recruits in Metro Manila’s crime-prone areas in September,” reports Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com
Based on the data gathered by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) in August 2012, the following are among the crime-prone areas in Metro Manila:
1. Areas under the jurisdiction of Police Community Precinct (PCP) 10 in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City
2. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 4 in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City
3. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 4 in North Bay Boulevard South, Navotas City
4. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 3 in Marulas, Valenzuela City
5. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 2 in Sto. Niño, Marikina City
6. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 4 in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City
7. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 2 in Plainview, Mandaluyong City
8. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 1 in Greenhills, San Juan City
9. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 6 in Barangay Sto. Niño, Pasay City
10. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 6 in Ayala, Makati City
11. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 1 in Baclaran, Parañaque City
12. Areas under the jurisdiction of PCP 3 in Barangay Pamplona, Las Piñas City
