“The body of nine-year-old Kris Ann Marasigan — which bore signs of rape — was found in a darkened area of Barangay Santa Ana in Bagong Sikap, Taguig,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The girl’s throat had been slashed.
According to the victim’s grandmother, she had asked the little girl to buy diapers at around 7pm on Friday, Dec 27.
She got worried when the girl had not yet returned after 30 minutes.
Police later arrested a man named Mario Alacalan, who said that he had nothing to do with the crime. Meanwhile, the girl’s body was brought to Loreto Funeralo Homes.
The investigation is still ongoing.
