“Ernesto Jailani Jr., a nine-year-old boy in Zamboanga City has been dubbed as ‘Santino,’ because he is believed to have the ability to heal sick people who would touch him,” reports ABS-CBN News Zamboanga correspondent Jewel Reyes on Umagang Kay Ganda.
According to the boy’s father, Ernesto Sr., the kid “manifested the ability to heal when he was just three years old, when the latter was observed playing and talking to an image of Sto. Niño.” *In his “sessions,” the boy lets people in need of healing touch him as he lays down.
Though there are people who claim to have been healed by the boy, the local Catholic Church says it hasn’t sanctioned the healing service.
Meanwhile, Ernesto Sr. said his son doesn’t accept any payment in exchange for his healing sessions.
