7-year-old girl in Manila survives stray bullet hit

Trigger-happy people should be arrested.

“A seven-year-old was preparing for school inside her house along M. Hizon Street in Sta. Cruz at around 5am on Tuesday, Jan 21, when she noticed blood on her shoulder,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

Scared by the sight of blood, the girl asked her cousin to check her wound. They later found an empty slug, believed to be from a .45-caliber pistol, on her bed.

The little girl was rushed to Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center to have her superficial wound treated. It was not serious so she was discharged from the hospital on the same day.
