Even jeepneys aren’t spared.
“On Monday morning, Feb 10, seven men allegedly involved in stealing jeepneys in Laguna were arrested in separate raids in Manila and Caloocan,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
One of those nabbed, who was identified as Russel Aguilar, revealed that that “two other junk shops in San Andres and Tondo districts in Manila are the supposed destination points of the jeepney parts.”
According to the police, “the raids were in response to the growing number of jeepney theft incidents in Laguna, where atleast 12 jeepneys have been stolen since December last year.”
