At around 2:40am on Sun, Jan 17, six people — three men and three women — were killed in a single car crash in San Jose, Tagaytay City.
“Tagaytay police chief Supt. Ferdinand Quirante said the Toyota Vios was traversing the Tagaytay-Calamba Road when it swerved into the opposite lane. The Laguna-bound car slammed into a concrete barrier and a tree before bursting into flames and trapping its six passengers inside,” reports ABS-CBN News.
Barangay officials attempted to pull out the passengers before the car exploded.
The remains of the victims were brought to Mel Funeral Homes in Barangay Bulihan.
Initial reports on the incident didn’t reveal the victims’ names.
