Apparently, wisdom doesn’t always come with age.
“On Tuesday, Jan 21, 50-year-old Jesus Aguirre reportedly shot dead Julie Bobis, his 61-year-old girlfriend, in her house in Caloocan City,” reports Rey Galupo in The Philippine Star.
Witnesses say Aguirre had confronted Bobis at her home at around 2pm. He accused her of seeing a much younger man. When their argument got heated, he pulled out a .45 caliber pistol and repeatedly shot Bobis.
To make matters worse, a stray bullet hit the foot of Anna Castillano, 40, who was at an eatery near Bobis’ home.
Bobis was declared dead on arrival at the Valenzuela General Hospital. Aguirre is on the run.
