In the latest trend that has taken over social media, people have turned Facebook likes into a currency that can be used to get what they want. They just message the account of a brand or person with a “proposal” to get free stuff. 

Cyberbegging? Brilliant bargaining strategy? You decide. 

1. One guy used this strategy to get a date with his long-time crush. They’re going out on a friendly date soon!

2. The there’s this guy who just wants cheaper rice from Jollibee. Seenzoned. 

3. We think this girl should’ve at least asked for three cups of milk tea. FYI, a cup only costs about PHP130 (around US$2.69). 

4. Of course there are brands who won’t fall for this, especially when we’re talking about products that cost almost PHP100,000 (around US$2,069).
