5 more alleged ‘Forever Summer’ drug pushers arrested

On Tue night, May 31, five alleged peddlers of the party drug Ecstasy at the May 21 Coseup Forever Summer concert were arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in a raid on a condominium unit in Parañaque City .

Those who were nabbed were identified as Seergeoh “Gio” Villanueva, his partner Erica Valbuena, and their companions Marc Deen, Thomas Halili, and Martin Dimacali.

The suspects are now facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act.

“Atty. Joel Tovera, chief of the NBI’s anti-illegal drug division, said the suspects were apprehended in the condominium unit owned by Villanueva. NBI seized cocaine, Ecstasy tablets, several bags of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and equipment used in concocting illegal substances,” reports Ghio Ong in The Philippine Star.

The report noted: “According to Tovera, a politician, whom he refused to name, tipped off the NBI that one of the suspects sold drugs during the May 21 Closeup Forever Summer party at the SM Mall of Asia open parking grounds. Prior to the anti-drug operation, Tovera said Villanueva handed to undercover agents a medicine bottle containing Ecstasy.”

Earlier, police arrested Joshua Habalo, 22, who allegedly also sold Ecstasy at the concert.
