“Around 400 families lost their homes and six people were hurt after fire broke out in a residential area on C. Perez Street in Tonsuya, Malabon City in the early hours of Wednesday, December 10,” Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.

The report noted: “Firefighters identified those hurt during the blaze as Rodel Mabute, 36; Ogie Basco, 17; John Michael Alunsaga, 22; Roderick Cruz, 18; Nino Cruz 35; and Mark Anthony dela Cruz, 25.”

The report added that “arson investigators estimated that around PHP2 million worth of property got damaged by the fire of still-unknown origin.”
