A four-year-old boy in Sitio Batiray, Cagayan de Oro City died due to an accidental firing of a gun.
“Police Chief Senior Inspector Allan Curato said the child and a seven-year-old were playing with the gun before the accidental firing. The victim’s father, Michael Labadan, did not see that his child was playing with the gun, which was owned by the child’s uncle,” reports Fred Dellava on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The boy sustained a fatal wound on his abdomen.
The report said that “the gun owner may face charges for not keeping his weapon properly.”
