“Four security guards the Matrix Security Corporation were injured after the armored van they were riding on crashed into the center island along Katipunan Avenue’s southbound lane in the Blue Ridge area at around 6 am on Thursday, Nov 28,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to witnesses, the armored van—with plate number UNX 943—was speeding when it crashed into the center island and tumbled down.
The four security guards, who were not named in the report, were brought to the nearby Quirino Memorial Medical Center. The mishap caused traffic to build up in the already-busy spot. The armored van was only removed at around 730 am, which, as everyone knows, is when the morning rush starts to pick up.
