4 people nabbed for selling fake US$100 bills

Fake money buys you real problems.

“On Wednesday, Feb 26, Felix Agsomosam, Larie Antenor, Edilberto Savio, and Rodrigo Manansala were arrested at a mall in Manila for allegedly selling 798 pieces of fake $100 bills to undercover National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents posing as buyers,” reports Aie Balagtas See in The Philippine Star.

The four suspects were selling the fake bills for PHP800,000.

The reports revealed that the bust was conducted after the NBI got a complaint from US Homeland Security on Agsomosam’s alleged activities. It turns out the group used to operate in Rizal and Baguio.
