30 injured after bus falls off Alabang flyover

About 30 people were injured after a passenger bus lost control of its brakes and fell off the Alabang flyover in Muntinlupa City on Sunday night.

According to a Facebook post by Jemson Oruga, an officer of the City Government of Muntinlupa, the Cher Bus with plate number TYW-504 was approaching the Skyway entrance via Alabang Viaduct at around 6:45 p.m. when the brakes failed and it fell to the ground, landing behind Pedro E. Diaz National High School.

No casualties or major injuries were reported. The injured were brought immediately to nearby Ospital ng Muntinlupa.

As of posting, the management of Cher Bus has not issued a statement about the incident.

As of 9:00 p.m., the road was cleared and passable to vehicles. The bus was brought to the Muntinlupa Traffic Bureau.
