[UPDATE] Another suspect in the killing of an advertising executive two weeks ago surrendered to authorities Tuesday evening. Jomar Pepito surrendered to Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla, who brought the suspect to the province police’s criminal investigation and detection. Pepito was accompanied by his parents and grandmother. The suspect was brought to the National Capital Region Police Office in Taguig City where he would be detained. Authorities said Pepito was taking refuge from his grandmother, who lived in Amadeo town. Remulla said one of the province’s village captains recognized him and pleaded with the grandmother to yield her grandson to the authorities. Pepito was allegedly the caretaker of the house where the suspects earlier hid. With Pepito’s surrender, four suspects in the case are now in custody. Reggie Diel and Lloyd Benedict Enriquez are with the Southern Police District, while Samuel Decimo is being held by the National Bureau of Investigation. Two other suspects, Kelvin Jorek Evangelista and Baser Minalang, remain at large. The suspects have been charged with qualified car theft and robbery with homicide before the Department of Justice.
