The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) is in the middle of quite a scandal.

Three PNPA cadets are being investigated after allegedly forcing two male freshmen to perform oral sex as punishment for committing violations inside the campus in Silang, Cavite.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported today that Director General Oscar Albayalde ordered the probe after getting reports that alleged an upper-class cadet forced two plebes to perform the sexual act on each other while two other cadets watched. It allegedly occurred on Oct. 6.

GMA News reported that the underclassmen were being punished for disobeying orders but what they did was not specified.

Albayalde claimed this was his first time to hear about cadets punishing their fellows this way, the Philippine Star stated.

PNPA director Chief Supt. Joseph Adnol said it allegedly happened behind the third year cadets’ barracks, GMA News reported.

Adnol added that the three suspects — the upper-class cadet who ordered the punishment and the two cadets who watched — are facing an administrative case and a criminal charge of hazing, ABS-CBN News stated.

This is the second scandal to happen in the PNPA this year. In March, six graduating upperclassmen were assaulted by 40 PNPA cadets on graduation day, GMA News added.
