Is metro crime going international? After the Liberian man counterfeiting US dollars and the alleged Nigerian hackers comes this.
“Three Pakistanis—Kashi Malik alias Pakis, Omar Mashir, and Joni Alik alias Jawad Younas—were charged before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court for selling valium tablets worth PHP100,000 to an undercover police agent during a buy-bust operation last month,” reports Chito A. Chavez in the Manila Bulletin.
The three suspects reportedly reside at 51 Filomena St., North Susana Executive Village, Barangay Old Balara, Quezon City. They were charged with violation of section 5 article II of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
According to the police, the other drugs recovered from the accused were shabu, diazepam, temazepan, ketamine, cocaine hydrochloride, methylphenidate, codeine, clonazepam, and alprazolam.
In other words, their house was like a sari-sari store of prohibited “treats.”
