It’s a pretty daunting number.
“The National Statistics Office (NSO) said nearly three million Filipinos are now unemployed after the Philippines’ jobless rate has increased to 7.5% in January this year,” reports ANC.
The report indicated that “typhoon-hit Region 8 was not covered in the labor force survey released quarterly.”
Sadly, among the regions, the National Capital Region (NCR) still has the highest unemployment rate of 10.2%.
