Check out three interesting statements that she made during the campaign period.
1. “When you know your true value as a woman, you can sit back with secure knowledge that the man of your dreams values your judgment because you value yours, and that together, you are working on the same goals.”
2. “Sa amin pong anim (Among the six of us), may the best woman win.”
3. “It is easy to say I am tough but it’s very difficult to just say it. But what I did in the past would show that I really fight for what I think is always right. I have stood my ground in many issues that have beset us even if some of these are not exactly in line with the administration’s point of view and I’m very glad that my views have been respected.”
