How do you solve a problem like Metro Manila bus drivers?
“On Thursday morning, March 12, traffic built up on the southbound lane of the Edsa-Kamuning area after three airconditioned passenger buses hit one another,” reports Johnson Manabat on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report noted: “The right side of a NAIA Metrolink Bus with plate number UYA 674 hit a Mayamy Transport Bus with plate number TWJ181. A Diros Bus, which was on the outer lane, was also involved in the incident.”
The buses blocked the road for about 10 minutes. None of the drivers was willing to give way. It came to a point when passengers were forced to disembark from the buses and seek out other ways to commute.
The report didn’t say if traffic personnel intervened in the “road block.”
