An alleged member of a kidnapping gang was killed last night by police during a raid in the village of San Jose in Antipolo City.
Nanestro Balderas, a purported member of the kidnapping syndicate Lawin Group, was killed by cops after he reportedly resisted arrest, GMA News reports. Meanwhile, his alleged cohorts — Juanito Aringoy, John Axel Gazer, and Sarah Jean Pimentel — were nabbed by the police.
An arrest warrant had been issued for the four suspects for murder charges. Aside from kidnapping and murder, the group was also allegedly involved in other crimes such as robbery and the illegal drug trade, Remate reports.
During their arrest, the cops allegedly found a .38 and a .45 pistol, another homemade gun, ammunition, and drugs in the gang’s possession, Radyo Pilipinas Uno reports.
