“The body of a civilian — a 25-year-old farmer named Oren Mangulamas — was recovered from the site of an encounter between members of the Special Action Force (SAF) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) in Sitio Amelil, Barangay Tukanalipao in Mamasapano town in Maguindanao,” reports Leizel Lacastesantos on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Mangulamas’ elder brother, Esmael, says his brother might have been mistaken as an informant of the PNP-SAF. He revealed that when his brother body was found, hands were tied up and he had gunshot wounds in all parts of his body.
