This is pretty serious.
“Department of Health (DOH) officials repeated their warning for households to be vigilant against dengue after 23,867 cases and 99 deaths were recorded all over the country last month,” reports Jenny F. Manongdo in Tempo.
According to the DOH-National Epidemiology Center (NEC) said while figure is 51% lower than last year with 48,686 cases, it doesn’t mean people should let down their guard.
Once again, the DOH is reminding people to “search and destroy containers that hold water to prevent them from becoming mosquito breeding sites.”
When it comes to your health, it pays to be a little paranoid. Just think that 99 deaths is nothing to scoff at.
