This is beyond ironic because March is Fire Prevention Month.
“Unfortunately, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) revealed that for this month alone, they have already recorded 235 fires in Metro Manila,” reports ABS-CBN’s Bandila.
BFP personnel are reminding everyone to be more careful about possible firestarters and fire hazards.
But that’s really pretty much all they can do. People generally don’t listen until they see their house burning. And, hey, March is far from over.
