There’s a saying that goes like this: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
This can be said of Pinoys and firecrackers.
“As of 6am on Tuesday, Dec 24, the Department of Health (DOH) said it has recorded 21 firecracker-related injuries,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com. According to DOH Assistant Secretary Eric Tayag, 12 of the injuries were caused by the banned firecracker piccolo.
We say it was caused by insanity…because the piccolo certainly didn’t get up and ask people to play with it.
