Wait, is that what we think it is?
An ostrich ran loose in a Quezon City gated community today, bringing unusual comic relief to Filipinos stressed by the pandemic.
The flightless fowl was captured on video by Dino Rivera, who wrote, “I have seen weird things in my life but this one ranks up there.”
“I was on a scooter; it might think I’m her husband,” he joked.
He told The Philippine Daily Inquirer that the fowl is owned by a resident living near the gated community.
Watch the video below, which has been shared almost 17,000 times, and see the bird gracefully running on the street.

Meanwhile, a report from Teleradyo said the bird had been captured, but Filipinos were stressed to see it pinned down and told authorities not to hurt the animal.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
