20 people hurt in SLEx bus crash

This is how NOT to start Monday morning.

“Early on Monday, Mar 24, a Southern Carrier bus, which came from Lipa, Batangas turned turtle on the northbound lane of the South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) after its rear tire got dislodged,” reports Dharel Placido on ABS-CBNnews.com.

According to bus passenger Edgar Lagrimas, “one of the female passengers beside him had her hand severed due to the strong impact of the crash.”

Lagrimas added that the bus wasn’t speeding but it turned turtle when one of its wheels went its own way.

The injured passengers were reportedly brought to Perpetual Help Medical Center in Biñan, Laguna. *As expected, the accident snarled traffic in both SLEx’s northbound and southbound lanes.
