2 women hurt in LPG tank explosion in Pasay

Let this be a cautionary tale.

“In the early hours of Thursday, Mar 13, a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded at the home of the Vicente family in Barangay 156, Riverside in Tramo, Pasay City,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

It seems that Mirasol Vicente had gotten up sometime close to midnight for a snack. Initially, as another family member revealed, she had seen that the hose had been dislodged from the LBG tank. The house had also reeked of the LPG scent. However, after a few moment, when she could no longer smell the LPG scent, Vicente opened the stove. That was when the explosion happened.

Vicente and her employee, Excel Sordilla, sustained injuries and were brought to San Juan de Dios Hospital.

The explosion had also destroyed some parts of the Vicente home’s ground floor.
