They were trying to steal a “toy”!
Jonathan Dumag, 33, and Tristan Tracey Ferrer, 31—members of the Salisi Gang—were arrested after getting caught stealing collector’s edition of superhero toys in a mall in Greenhills.
The ABS-CBNnews.com report said that the store manager recognized the faces of the two suspects, as they were caught on CCTV stealing a scale replica of Batman last June 4, which costs PHP22,000.
This time around, the two suspects attempted to steal an Iron Man bust worth PHP2,000. Firtunately, the store manager was able to alert the mall’s security guards.
Dumag and Ferrer are now in police custody.
