It seems that robbers in Quezon City continue to target beverage shops.
“At around 12:51pm on Tuesday, January 27, two unidentified men robbed the Infinitea shop located at Regalado Avenue, Barangay Greater Lagro, Quezon City,” report Betheena Kae Unite and Francis T. Wakefield in Tempo.
The report noted: “According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Fairview Police Station 5 (PS-5), the two armed suspects posing as customers and then later pulled out their guns and declared a robbery.”
The suspects took the cash and valuables of about eight customers. Their loot from Infinitea’s patrons and the shop itself included PHP80,000 of cash and cellphones. They also took the DVR or video recording of the establishment’s CCTV (closed-circuit television) camera.
After robbing the customers, the report revealed that “the suspects then instructed them to enter the shop’s office and comfort room where they were forced to undress.”
The suspects were said to have fled on board a motorcycle.
