Where do these criminals get grenades, anyway?
“At around 1:30am on Wednesday, Feb 26, two people were injured in a grenade blast in Mandaluyong City,” reports Rizal S. Obanil in the Manila Bulletin.
According to a barangay watchman, he and his colleagues were just sitting near the garage of an outpost in Barangay Mauway when three suspects arrived on board two motorcycles. Suddenly, one of the suspects hurled something at them. That object, of course, turned out to be a grenade. It went off, injuring a Bantay Bayan volunteer and another watchman.
The victims were rushed to the hospital.
Unfortunately, n one of the witnesses were able to identify the suspects or take note of their motorcycles’ license plate numbers. Mandaluyong City Police investigators are working on the case.
