2 guns-for-hire caught for not wearing helmets

One slip is all it takes for anyone to get nabbed.

“Two men on a motorcycle—Danilo Cesista, 33 and Ferdinand Aquino, 23—who were flagged down by the police on Tuesday, Dec 17, for not wearing helmets at dawn of Tuesday turned out to be hired assassins believed to be behind several drug-related killings in Manila,” reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

The report cited Senior Insp. John Guiagui of the Delpan police community precinct, who revealed that his team had been conducting Oplan Sita as part of their anti-crime campaign when they stopped the two men at around 5am at Gate 7 of the Parola Compound in Tondo, Manila, for not wearing motorcycle helmets. However, when the men were frisked, cops found that they had bullets and packets of shabu.
