2 EDSA ‘hulidap’ cops want to be transferred to Camp Crame

A special request already?!

“Chief Inspector Joseph de Vera and Police Officer 2 Jonathan Rodriguez—two of the policemen who were charged for the ‘hulidap’ incident along EDSA in Mandaluyong City last September 1—asked the court yesterday to transfer them to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City,” reports Non Alquitran in The Philippine Star.

De Vera and Rodriguez’s lawyer, Atty. Jason Cantil, explained, “There are threats on their lives because they are joined in their detention cell by some inmates whom they are responsible for placing them in jail.”

Do you think the court be sympathetic to their predicament?
