It’s a scene out of The Three Stooges—except in this case only two are involved and the aftermath is a little more brutal.
“On Friday, Dec 20, two Marikina policemen—who were identified as PO1 Gaspar Mel Mantaya and PO1 Arturo Boronggana—were injured after the motorcycle they were riding hit a cement mixer along Pasig Boulevard in Barangay Pineda, Pasig,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The handlebar of the motorcycle was said to have “pierced through the leg of one of the victims.”
According to the report, cement mixer driver Pedro Kurot said it was the motorcycle that rammed into his vehicle. Hem also added that “the victims appeared to be drunk.”
Mantaya and Boronggana were brought to the Rizal Medical Center.
