The man’s got a birthday goal.
“Manila Mayor Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada announced on Tuesday, Mar 18, that the local government will finish the installation of 185 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras all over the city before his 77th birthday on April 19,” reports The Philippine Star.
“This is part of the city government’s anti-criminality and disaster preparedness campaign. The installation of the CCTVs will boost our campaign against criminality,” Estrada explained.
Through these cameras, Estrada said he would then be able to “monitor road activities in strategic areas in Manila such as Divisoria, Recto, and the University Belt.”
