At least 17 people have been reported injured in a mass collision in Baclaran this morning, according to ABS-CBN News.
Rolly Venturado of Parañaque City’s disaster management office said that the 17 injured were brought to the nearby San Juan de Dios Hospital.
Police officer Christopher Nollido said that the accident was caused by a tourist bus whose brakes failed, causing the bus to ram into 11 other private vehicles.
No deaths have been reported, but one passenger suffered a severe cut in the head and body.
The driver has been arrested and is being held by Parañaque police.
Baclaran is located in both Paranaque and Pasay cities and is known for its flea markets that sell everything from clothes to electronics, home decorations, and alternative medicines.
