He was able to get up after being hit by a truck, so he thought he was going to be fine. That was not the case.
“A 13-year-old boy, who used to scour garbage bins for scrap material he could sell, was a victim of hit-and–run by a ten-wheeler after he sat in the middle of Araneta Avenue in Quezon City on at around 1am to 2am on Mon, May 4,” reports Kori Quintos on ABS-CBNnews.com.
After he was hit by the truck, witnesses said the boy did not bleed and was even able to get up and talk with his friends.
However, after a few hours, he started complaining of body pains and started vomiting blood. He soon stopped breathing.
The report noted: “There is no CCTV footage of the accident. Nonetheless, further investigations are ongoing.”
