It’s not just little kids who may be in danger.
“An 11-year old boy named Mark Justin Saluta died on Monday, April 21, after drowning in a pool in Quezon City,” reports Francis Wakefield in the Manila Bulletin.
According to the Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU), the boy reportedly drowned at 10am while he was swimming at the Remedios Royale Resort located in Barangay Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City.
The boy had arrived at the resort with his mother, Melinda, and other relatives and friends.
The report didn’t explain exactly what happened. It just said that lifeguards saw the boy floating in the pool and he was rushed to the Bernardino General Hospital. Unfortunately, he was already dead when he got there.
Earlier this month, a 3-year-old boy also drowned in a kiddie pool of a resort in Valenzuela.
