100 suspected prostitutes arrested in Caloocan

100 women, believed to be prostitutes, were rounded up by Caloocan police in 15 separate raids over the weekend.

Deputy chief of police Supt. Ferdinand del Rosario said the female workers were arrested for not having health and mayor’s permits. Additionally, he said in a Journal report, that they have received reports that minors were working as Guest Relations Officers (GROs).

If this is proven true, the owners and operators of will be held liable and slapped with the corresponding charges. The police official further disclosed that some of these night spots have VIP rooms that double as “mini motels”.
